Mucha Panel Lecture
A panel lecture shared here as part of my creative and academic path.

Psychology · Studio Art · Horticulture · Storytelling · Film Photography
I'm interested in the ways we make sense of the world around us: through art, the natural environment, the stories we tell, and the connections we build.
This space brings those interests together, making room for creative experiments, personal reflections, and the people whose work deserves to be discovered.

“I don't believe growth happens in a straight line, and I don't believe we have to have everything figured out to begin creating something meaningful.”

A panel lecture shared here as part of my creative and academic path.

My first time traveling outside of the United States, with PBSC.

A current cyanotype exhibit I curated in collaboration with the FAU Library and the RJH Arboretum.

Paying attention to the small details in people, places, and nature.
Making room for the stories behind the work and the people doing it.
Collecting images, notes, textures, and references along the way.
Turning what I've noticed into photographs, art, and writing.
Bringing it here, so it can connect with someone else.

My story has been shaped by resilience, loss, and the decision to begin again. I was raised by a single mother, and my father has been incarcerated for most of my life. Losing my mother in 2022 changed me in ways I am still learning to understand. After struggling with alcoholism, I made the decision to stop drinking and rebuild my life with greater intention. At 30, I returned to school, determined to pursue a future that felt meaningful to me.
Today, I'm a psychology student minoring in studio art, exploring the connections between mental wellness, creative expression, nature, and human connection. My path hasn't been traditional, but I believe that lived experience can be a powerful source of empathy, curiosity, and perspective. I know what it means to start over, to grow through uncomfortable seasons, and to discover that it's never too late to become someone you once only imagined.
